Principal Jordan Weitberg will speak at the 2018 Estate Planning Summer Institute on July 19, 2018. The two-day program is presented by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education ("NJICLE") in cooperation with the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Real Property, Trust & Estate Law Section in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
Jordan's session titled "Counsel Fees in Estate Litigation" will focus on the recovery of a litigant’s counsel fees from an estate or trust as well as the shifting of counsel fees to other parties in probate litigation. Jordan's discussion will be a “must-hear” for attorneys who handle fiduciary litigation and have a need to understand the relevant factors in the payment of the parties’ attorney’s fees from the “fund in court.”
