Bressler is committed to serving as a responsible corporate citizen in the communities where we live and work. Giving back is a firm value and a chosen responsibility. Our dedication to community service and pro bono work spans our network of offices, directly benefiting our local communities. Since our founding, we have shared our experiences, skills, expertise, and resources to help those in need. To that end, we have longstanding firm-wide initiatives and programs for advancing community engagement, diversity and inclusion, pro bono legal service and charitable contributions.
Pro Bono
Bressler’s pro bono efforts demonstrate our deeply held belief that legal representation of those with limited access to justice is among the highest values we can hold. We consider it our duty to provide representation to those with meritorious legal challenges but without the means to afford counsel. Our Pro Bono Committee identifies worthy causes and supports the firm’s attorneys in assisting in a wide variety of organizations. Through pro bono work, our attorneys and staff help individuals and organizations in need, support causes of personal interest, diversify their professional experiences and give back to the community. Our pro bono efforts include innovative projects and cases that allow for the progressive, creative, and dynamic lawyering that is the backbone of our work for corporate clients.
Each year, our attorneys commit their time and resources to serve the public good. By helping the less fortunate, we strengthen our bonds to the communities in which we practice and we make a profound difference in the lives of our clients. Our pro bono work encompasses all types of matters including housing and homelessness, corporate, women’s rights, racial and socioeconomic injustice, immigration and immigrant rights, artists and arts organizations, LGBTQ rights, not-for-profits, youth and veterans' affairs.
