Jordan Weitberg, who is Chair of the Fiduciary and Attorney Compensation Subcommittee of ACTEC (the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel), will be presenting a session titled "Considerations in Fixing Fiduciary Commissions in New Jersey." He will discuss the rules applicable to determining commissions for both individual and corporate fiduciaries, the allocation of commissions where two or more fiduciaries are serving, approaches for challenging commissions, and more. Jordan’s discussion will be a “must-hear” for attorneys and other advisors who have a need to understand the relevant factors in the determination and payment of the fiduciary commissions in both the estate administration and litigation contexts.
The two-day program is presented by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education ("NJICLE") in cooperation with the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Real Property Trust & Estate Law Section. CLE and CPE credits are available.
