On November 18, 2021, Gerd Stabbert will participate in a “Sleep Out” in Newark, NJ, to raise funds and awareness for Covenant House, an organization that provides shelter, safety and support for nearly 2,000 children experiencing homelessness and trafficking each night across the U.S.
In an act of solidarity with the 4.2 million young people who experience homelessness each year, Gerd joins the Chester Lions Club and in spending the night sleeping on the street in Newark.
Covenant House's mission is to ensure that all youth have a safe place to sleep where they feel loved and respected. And they need our help to meet the growing, urgent challenges that arose during the global pandemic.
