Principal Jordan Weitberg will speak at the 2022 Estate Planning Summer Institute on July 28, 2022. Jordan, who is Chair of the Fiduciary and Attorney Compensation Subcommittee of ACTEC (the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel), will be presenting a session titled "Attorney’s Fees in New Jersey Estate Litigation." He will focus on the recovery of a litigant’s counsel fees from an estate or trust in probate litigation, best practices for engagement letters and billing, and special fees situations. Jordan’s discussion will be a “must-hear” for attorneys who handle fiduciary litigation and have a need to understand the relevant factors in the payment of the parties’ attorney’s fees from the “fund in court.”
The two-day webcast program is presented by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education ("NJICLE") in cooperation with the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Real Property Trust & Estate Law Section on the Zoom meeting platform. Attendees will be able to view the program live or on demand within 120 days to obtain CLE credits.
