The ABA Section of Litigation is partnering with the Woman Advocate Committee (WAC), Women in Insurance Network (WIN), Women in Products Liability (WIPL), and Women in Securities Litigation (WISL) Subcommittees to offer this event. The conference will take place on November 15-17, 2017 at The Logan Hotel in Philadelphia. This two-and-a-half-day conference will include an opening plenary session, in which women general counsel will share their views and advice about how to help women develop critical skills to succeed. The conference will also include a full day of cutting-edge plenaries and four separate programming tracks addressing trial advocacy skills, business development, insurance, securities litigation, and product liability issues.
Kathryn’s program, “Arbitrating in the FINRA Forum: Issues and Strategies” will include a panel of in-house, outside, and investor counsel. They will provide practical advice for arbitrator selection and effective cross-examination strategies for key witnesses in FINRA customer arbitrations, including the customer, financial advisor, and suitability experts.
