Florham Park, NJ (August 21, 2024) – Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C. proudly announces its commitment to Mansfield Certification for 2024–2025. For the second time, Bressler has achieved Midsize Mansfield Certification.

Bressler achieved its initial Midsize Mansfield Certification in 2023, demonstrating the Firm's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The Certification recognizes that the Firm is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion by considering at least 30% women, attorneys of color, LGBTQ+ attorneys, and attorneys with disabilities for firm leadership and governance roles, equity principal promotions, all hiring, and participation in client pitches.

Since Bressler joined Mansfield in 2021 and received Certification in 2023, the Firm has been dedicated to enhancing the transparency and accessibility of its advancement processes. The goal is to provide all talent at Bressler with a fair and equal opportunity to be considered for leadership roles and activities. Bressler's efforts have led the Firm to be recognized as a "Trendsetter" in achieving Certification, indicating it has remained committed for 2-4 years.

"We are incredibly proud to be among the law firms renewing our commitment to our Midsize Mansfield Certification," said Leonel Peraza, Jr., Florida Principal and Co-Chair of the Firm's Inclusion Committee. "We remain determined to take measurable actions to ensure that our processes remain inclusive."

In late 2020, Diversity Lab launched a new iteration of the Mansfield Rule developed for firms with between 25 and 150 lawyers in the U.S. and Canada. The Mansfield Rule aims to boost diversity in leadership by broadening the talent pool through "consideration goals," not quotas, for leadership roles. The Mansfield Midsize certification process, modeled after the initial large firm version, has been fine-tuned to boost diversity in leadership for firms with smaller lawyer populations, fewer office locations, and leaner firm leadership structures.

Loren L. Pierce, Principal in New Jersey and Co-Chair of the Inclusion Committee, stated, "We are thrilled to remain involved in the Mansfield community, which now consists of over 365 firms dedicated to inclusive talent practices that promote diversity in leadership."
