FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (August 2021) – Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C. is pleased to announce that the New Jersey Law Journal has named attorney Gabrielle Pelura a 2021 Professional Excellence Honoree in the “Unsung Hero” category. The New Jersey Law Journal’s “Unsung Heroes” honor is a part of its 2021 New Jersey Legal Awards.
“It is an honor to receive this award,” said Pelura. “I am proud to be part of the amazing team at Bressler where we work together to fiercely advocate for our clients. I will continue to strive to make an indelible impact on the lives of clients and provide pro bono assistance to marginalized individuals and groups.”
The “Unsung Hero” award recognizes individuals who are indispensable to a firm’s daily operations, often work long hours behind the scenes, and are crucial to the success of their respective firms. Gabrielle was recognized for her demonstrated exemplary commitment to pro bono work. She was selected for her consistent efforts and dedication to advocating for the rights and safety of those who cannot afford legal representation.
Pelura joined the firm in October 2020 and quickly became an important asset to Bressler’s Pro Bono program. She has represented clients in various matters that involved immigration, civil rights, transgender rights, and domestic violence.
“Gabrielle is an excellent and dedicated attorney whose commitment to community service is demonstrated in countless ways, said Bressler’s Pro Bono Committee Chair, Ronald Campione. “From her pro bono legal services with several non-profit organizations to her passion for helping others, Gabrielle is a thoughtful, intelligent, and a well-respected attorney at Bressler. It’s gratifying to see her recognized for her commitments to the legal community and the firm.”
