Fort Lauderdale, FL (July 25, 2024) – Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C. is pleased to announce that attorney Michael Shifrin has been re-elected to serve a 3-year term on the board of directors for the Ten North Group.
Ten North Group is a mission-driven and community-focused real estate development organization which transforms lives by providing equitable access to affordable housing and wealth-building opportunities for under-resourced communities. Shifrin continues to serve on the Board of Directors to help implement Ten North Group’s mission, establish strategic goals, and oversee the organization’s growth and partnerships.
Since 1980, Ten North Group has been revitalizing South Florida and is recognized as one of Florida’s largest and most respected Community Development Corporations. In addition to owning, developing, and managing affordable housing and creating opportunities for home ownership, Ten North Group empowers community members through social, educational, and financial programs which include business training workshops, mentorship and counseling, small business loans, youth and family services education programs, health and care coordination programs, and arts and cultural programming.
Shifrin is a Counsel attorney in the Firm’s Insurance and Cannabis practice groups. He has over a decade of legal experience defending, prosecuting, and winning cases throughout Florida, especially those focused on first-party property insurance litigation and fraud. He represents clients of all sizes, from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. He is a passionate and results-driven attorney who is committed to making a positive impact by serving as a mentor and leader in the South Florida community.
Shifrin received his bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude from the University of Florida and his J.D. from Florida International University College of Law.
