FLORHAM PARK, NJ (April 2022) – Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C. is proud to announce that New Jersey Principal Loren L. Pierce has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey State Bar Foundation (NJSBF).
The NJSBF, the charitable and educational arm of the New Jersey State Bar Association, provides a wide variety of free, law-related programs and services to the public.
“I am proud to serve on the Foundation’s Board of Trustees,” said Pierce. “I’ve always admired the work and dedication of the Foundation, and I am excited for the opportunity to continue to help make a positive impact in our community.”
Pierce is an active volunteer in the legal community. Locally, she is a current member of the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association board, and previously held positions including President, President-Elect, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. She is also a former member of the Amicus Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association. Nationally, Pierce serves as a member of the National Association of Women Lawyers and a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and Litigation Counsel of America.
As a Trustee of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Bressler’s Firm Managing Principal Diana Manning added, “We are so proud of our colleague and friend on her appointment to the Foundation’s Board of Trustees. At Bressler, Pierce is a principal in the Business and Commercial Litigation practice group. Her practice is focused on commercial, insurance coverage, and employment litigation. She also has experience litigating environmental, class actions, construction, and fraud matters. Pierce also counsels corporate and non-profit clients on commercial matters and has prepared corporate-wide policies relating to compliance, employment, and electronic discovery issues.
Pierce has been included in the list of U.S. News’ Best Lawyers in America consecutively since 2006, and is listed as a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent lawyer. She is also regularly listed in Thomson Reuters’ New Jersey Super Lawyers. In 2015, the New Jersey Commission on Professionalism in the Law presented Pierce with the “Professional Lawyer of the Year” award for her work with New Jersey Women Lawyers Association.
Since 1958, NJSBF has been dedicated to carrying out the charitable and educational activities of the New Jersey State Bar Association. The Foundation stands as a model for law-related educational organizations across the country.
