Firm’s Business and Commercial Litigation Co-Chair To Help Run NJ Women Lawyers Group
Florham Park, N.J. – June 17, 2020 -- The law firm of Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C. announced today that Diana C. Manning has been elected Vice President of the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association.
A Bressler principal, Ms. Manning is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and co-chair of the firm’s Business and Commercial Litigation Practice. She also spearheads the firm’s Appellate practice team. Ms. Manning starts her new role on the NJWLA’s Executive Board on July 1 for the 2020-2021 term. Her previous work for the Association includes serving as Co-Chief Operating Officer and Gala Co-Chair.
Ms. Manning is honored to be elected as Vice President of the Association. “This organization is near and dear to me,” she said. “I look forward to continuing the mission of the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association to advance and retain women in the legal profession to the highest levels of law firm, government, judicial, academic, community and corporate positions.”
The association, based in Nutley, has more than 1,000 members and was formed in 1981.
Ms. Manning became a principal at Bressler in 2005 and is certified by the Supreme Court as a Civil Trial Attorney. Ms. Manning has over 25 years of experience in complex civil litigation and appellate advocacy, including multiple arguments before the New Jersey Supreme Court.
Ms. Manning is currently a member of the Board of Trustees for the New Jersey State Bar Association. She is also a past Chair of the District XA Ethics Committee, and past President of Trial Attorneys of New Jersey, the Morris County Bar Association, and the Morris County Bar Foundation. In 2016 Ms. Manning was named to the New Jersey Law Journal's "Top Women in Law." In 2017, she received the Professional Lawyer of the Year Award from the New Jersey Commission on Professionalism of New Jersey.
Ms. Manning received a J.D. in 1993 from Rutgers University School of Law – Newark and a B.A. in 1990 from Rutgers College, Rutgers University.
