Manning has been honored with the Distinguished Alumni Award by Rutgers School of Law – Newark. Recognizing their exceptional role in the legal profession, the award is presented annually to a small and select group of graduates of the Rutgers Law School. Manning and other awardees will be celebrated at the 2024 Alumni Recognition Gala on October 23, 2024.
Manning, a Bressler Management Committee member, has made significant contributions to the firm, legal profession, and community. She was the firm's first female Firm Managing Principal and currently leads the Appellate and Business and Commercial Litigation practice groups. Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney, Manning has participated in six matters before the New Jersey Supreme Court and is a three-time recipient of the “Professional Lawyer of the Year Award” conferred by the New Jersey Commission on Professionalism in the Law. Her active involvement in various legal organizations and committees, including her roles as Treasurer of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Trustee of the New Jersey State Bar Foundation, and Chair of the NJSBA Civil Trial Bar Section, further underscore her commitment to the legal community.
In addition, Manning has held important leadership roles in various organizations. She is a past President of the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association, Trial Attorneys of New Jersey, Morris County Bar Association, and Morris County Bar Foundation. Manning has also been actively involved in community service, serving on the Board of Trustees for CASA of Morris and Sussex Counties, Inc. and Literacy Volunteers of America-Bergen County
