FLORHAM PARK, NJ (February 2022) – Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C. is proud to announce that New Jersey Counsel Kathryn Burfitt Rockwood has been appointed as Secretary of the Morris County Bar Foundation 2022 Board of Trustees. Rockwood was installed during the Annual Swearing-In Ceremony on January 27, 2022, which took place via Zoom.
“I am excited for this opportunity to serve the Foundation’s Board of Trustees,” said Rockwood. “Having served as a Trustee for the Morris County Bar Association for the last four years, I am familiar with the impact of the Foundation in our community. I look forward to supporting our continued public service efforts.”
Rockwood is Counsel in Bressler’s financial institutions practice group, litigating primarily on behalf of broker-dealers, registered representatives, and other financial services professionals in various forums, including FINRA arbitration and federal and state courts. Her practice also encompasses representing and advising financial institutions and broker-dealers in connection with regulatory inquiries, as well as compliance with federal, state and local rules for investment of public funds. She also serves as a member of the District XA Ethics Committee, having been appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court.
The Morris County Bar Foundation is a nonprofit organization established in 1990, in order to serve as the charitable affiliate of the Morris County Bar Association. The purpose of the Foundation is to support and aid the community by way of public service and fundraising on behalf of the Morris County Bar Association for charitable, scientific, literary and/or educational purposes.
