In 2011, New Jersey took an important step forward in welcoming captive insurers, and the state has made significant progress since then creating valuable opportunities for the business community working with the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance. To date, 10 captive insurance companies have been approved and several more are in the pipeline.
Now, the business community is taking another exciting step forward as Sheila Small, former assistant treasurer of Verizon, will be announced as the incoming Executive Director of the New Jersey Captive Insurance Association.
Please join us on Wednesday, June 19, 5:00-7:30 pm to congratulate Sheila on this new endeavor, to hear a "state-of-the-industry" report from Crosby Sherman, Chief, and John Talley, Assistant Chief, Captive Insurance, NJDOBI, and to learn about other upcoming changes and events. Gregg Sgambati, the outgoing NJCIA Executive Director, also will speak about the evolution of the organization.
