Overview
James Crowder is an associate in the firm's Environmental Practice Group. Jay supports clients in both environmental litigation and regulatory issues across industrial sectors. He has worked on both state and federal matters, including the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, CERCLA, and RCRA. He helps guide clients through the complex framework of environmental laws and regulations.
Before joining Bressler, he clerked with the D.C. Office of Administrative Hearings and interned with the Department of Justice, where he worked on environmental enforcement. During law school, he worked with the Vermont Law School Environmental and Natural Resources Law Clinic on environmental justice and enforcement issues. Also during law school, he served as a teaching assistant for legal research and legal writing classes as well as a Dean’s Fellow for Legal Writing and Editor-in-Chief for the Vermont Journal of Environmental Law.
