Overview

Kirsten Nowak is an associate in the firm's Financial Institutions practice group in Florida. 

Prior to joining Bressler, Kirsten was an associate at a Florida law firm where she represented claimants in securities arbitration and investment litigation matters. 

Kirsten has several years of experience in the financial services industry and is very knowledgeable when it comes to the SEC and FINRA rules, regulations, and arbitration process. She also has experience defending financial institutions against wrongful termination and defamation claims. While in law school, she worked as a law clerk in the enforcement division at the Securities and Exchange Commission. Prior to that, Kirsten was a law clerk at The Florida Office of Financial Regulation in the Securities and Consumer Finance Division.

Kirsten assists with the Firm’s Expungement practice, working closely with in-house counsel, branch management, registration/regulatory reporting professionals and financial advisors to educate them about the expungement process and help evaluate regulatory disclosures, including customer complaints. 

Kirsten received her J.D. from Florida State University College of Law in 2021, where she was a Staff Editor for the Florida State University Law Review. While in law school, she was a student attorney at the FSU Business Clinic. Kirsten received her B.S., magma cum laude, in Business Management from Florida State University in 2018.
