Brian Ellis was quoted in a Law360 Pulse article titled Mid-Law Sees Wave Of New Diversity Pipeline Programs. The piece discusses the recent uptick of programs designed to recruit more diverse candidates into the legal profession, especially in mid-size law firms.
Brian was asked about Bressler's recent partnership with Schreyer Honors College at Penn State, which launched a six-week summer program for undergraduate students from underrepresented groups.
"Part of this initiative is, for any of the Schreyer Scholars who interviewed, even those who weren't selected …we're here," he said. "We remain in contact. I've fielded questions from a number of students about how to prepare for a legal career or what law school's like…we are still present."
Brian also added that he would love to see the students come back as summer law clerks and eventually be hired to work at the firm.
