Overview
Erica Litvak is an associate in the firm’s General Litigation practice group. Her practice concentrates on the representation of hospitals and other healthcare facilities in a broad range of claims, from wrongful death and personal injury to commercial loss and property disputes. Erica has experience in all aspects of litigation including pretrial discovery, motion practice, alternative dispute resolution and trial.
Prior to joining Bressler, Erica was a medical malpractice associate with a law firm in Morris County where she defended doctors, nurses, hospitals and private medical groups in malpractice litigation. After graduating law school, Erica clerked for the Honorable Mitchell I. Steinhart in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen County, Family Division, where she assisted with judicial review of the non-dissolution docket, domestic violence docket and post-judgment matrimonial matters. As a law clerk, Erica actively participated in the Court’s alternative dispute resolution program by conducting mediations and settlement conferences in the Special Civil Division. During law school, Erica served as a judicial intern for The Honorable Lisa K. Wexler in the Connecticut Probate Court and as a student extern in the Child Advocacy Clinic of the Children’s Law Center of Central North Carolina.

Erica is passionate about mentoring future attorneys. She is an assistant coach for the Fairleigh Dickinson undergraduate mock trial team and volunteers as a judge for local American Mock Trial Invitational Tournaments.
