Joshua Pearce is a Principal in the firm’s Corporate & Commercial Transactions practice group. His professional mission is to collaborate with visionary founders and families, helping them design and implement their legal and business strategies to minimize risk and enhance value.  His expertise spans corporate law, securities, mergers, and acquisitions (M&A), family office structuring, trust and estate planning, intellectual property, and private investment fund structuring.

Drawing on his experience as a former General Counsel for a family office and investment holdings company with multiple subsidiaries, as well as his background as an investment advisor and asset manager, Joshua provides clients with comprehensive business counseling.

He balances business risk with pragmatic advice, often serving as a true extension of his clients’ teams. Through creative structuring and problem solving, Joshua utilizes his experience in business, finance, and entrepreneurship to realize each client's vision.

Joshua has represented diverse clients in notable corporate and intellectual property matters, including international tech companies, emerging fund managers, real estate development, and a wide variety of IP and traditional operating businesses. He also assists clients in navigating regulatory and transactional challenges within the investment management sector.

Joshua is licensed to practice law in Virginia and Texas. He earned his J.D. from Liberty University School of Law and a B.S. in Business Finance from Liberty University.
